This is a close-up from the shopping trolley from yesterday's image. Not quite worked out as pleasing as originally hoped as various bits of the metal are in focus and others aren't. That's due to the shape of the trolley and my proximity to it, but I wish I'd got the centre elements more sharp.
Sometimes I wonder what to write in this section. I'm sure people do actually read it but I'm never sure how interested they are in what I'm doing today or what my feelings were when I took the shot. A blog I occasionally visit has taken to posting ridiculously self-absorbed claptrap about the images he's been posting which I think is kind of pretentious. So I try to keep it to a minimum when it comes to bigging up my own work!
Anyway, barely anything done to this apart from a curve for contrast.
EDIT: I should probably clarify what my wee moan above was about - I do enjoy writing a little about why I took the shot or what I was trying to achieve, and it's certainly great to know that people like to read that sort of stuff. What prompted my slightly vitriolic outburst was taking a look at a few of my peers sites for the first time in a while and reading pretentious nonsense about what a wonderfully pensive and poignant moment in time they'd managed to capture. I don't know... it just came across as ever so self-indulgent! I suppose we're all guilty of thinking the sun shines out of our own backsides sometimes... ;)
