Well I hate to say it, but I was right: at 10am this morning we Londoners were treated to a torrential downpour, with lightening, cracks of rumbling thunder, bouncing cannonballs of raindrops, the works. And ten minutes later it was over, and the incredible heat had sucked every last trace of it back up into the skies again, no doubt ready to repeat the feat the same time tomorrow. So rain didn't stop play...
But it did stop me taking any photos (well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it), so here is another shot from Sunday afternoon, from the balcony.
