Another shot from the Axelle Carolyn shoot - this was earlier, before she smeared her makeup across her face. For the most part I lit her using the daylight coming from the skylight above us and a single SB-600 fired wirelessly using Nikon CLS, but there was also plenty latitude for flash-only. Here I had the flash 'upstage' of her, shooting back towards her to light the side that wasn't facing me but spilling around enough to create a really nice noir-feel.
It might be basic but I think it's gorgeous, plus it's the most successful 'Strobist' shoot I've had so far. Thanks, David Hobby!
