Another shot from the music performance day last week - when I was processing this I was playing with the colour version for so long and not really feeling it (lovely as it was) but when I put a B&W layer in I knew that's what I preferred. There's a Curves layer to tone it with the silvery blue colour, and I cropped to 4:3 to keep the focus on the mics as there was a bit too much empty space around them that wasn't working for me, and 1:1 was too tight.
The John Henry in the title is a reference to the sticker on the mic, not a singer. It's the name of the company that provides all the performance equipment for the bands.
Let me know your thoughts!
