• Another Ryan Haysom spectacular, this time from a few weeks ago when he filmed a zombie short in Highgate. Here we see the man himself attending to a severed hand with dedication such a task deserves.

  Used a B&W layer set to Multiply to give it a bit more grimey detail, and used a Levels layer to lift the midtones as Multiply really plummets a picture into darkness. The Levels layer still didn\'t save some shadow areas so I painted out some of the Multiply layer with a low opacity brush - mostly around Ryan\'s knees, shirt and hair and the handless victim\'s jacket. There\'s a Hue/Saturation layer set to increase red saturation, and a hint of vignette.
